Air Jordan is releasing these special edition added to their Retro 1 collection. These "Sports Illustrated" better known as "A Star is Born" sneakers is a remembrance of Michael Jordans first time that he appeared on the cover of "Sports Illustrated Magazine" as a professional.
The sneaker is dressed in whitened black leather upper offset with red detailing on the Wings logo on the side of the sneaker and along the tongue of the sneaker.
The Swoosh making it the most noticeable feature on the sneaker, is detailed perfectly to match the the "Milwaukee Bucks" jersey. The swoosh is green striped with red lining the swoosh.
"A Star is Born" the statement made by publishers on the magazine is embossed on the inner flaps on the sneaker.
