Every year since'04 Nike teams up with Doernbecher Childrens Hospital and selects very special patients to design a very special collection of footwear and apparel by the children. Doernbecher Childrens Hospital is located in Portland, Oregon.
Donovan designed these DragonBall Z sneakers after his favorite anime show. Dressed in a black rich suede, embossed with a dragon scale design. Accents of gold metal that include Donovans birthday and the "protection" Japanese symbol.
Talented Donovan Dinneen an 11 year old designed these DragonBall Z inspired 15's. Donovan was diagnosed with a life-threatening meningococcal infection. He fought back with a kidney transplant with help from his doctors and his supportive family.
